  • Blender


  • 1 cup frozen diced pineapple
  • 1 cup spinach I used baby spinach
  • 1 cup oconut water I used fresh coconut water
  • 3 dates fruits
  • 1/2 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 cup ice
  • pinch chia seeds


  • Peel the dates and separate them from their seeds.
  • Add the dates into the jar and pour the fresh coconut water.
  • Blend until the dates crush enough.
  • Add the rest ingredients, spinach or kale, ice, frozen diced pineapple, and freshly grated ginger. Blend those again.
  • Pour the detox smoothie into your glass.
  • Add chia seed as a topping.


You can choose the thickness of your smoothie consistency by reducing the ice or reducing the coconut water. Just pick what you like and enjoy.
When I prepare this smoothie detox, I love to have a thick consistency. I did not use one cup of coconut water, but only 3/4 or even 1/2 cup only. Sometimes, I use 1 cup coconut water but no ice or only just a little ice. Otherwise, I add all ingredients with the chia seed blended.
